Tiny Tailored Gartini
From Knitting Lingerie Style:
I’m sure that the main reason stockings fell out of favor in the 1960s was the garter belt or girdle needed do hold them up. These gadgets, in addition to panties, slips, and stockings, made for a lot of bulk and fuss under clothing. Once women discovered the convenience and comfort of panty hose, stockings didn’t stand a chance. There are, however, times when stockings may still be a desirable option, such as during warm weather or just when you want to feel a little sexier. For those times, I offer the simple and functional Gartini, with is a panty onto which adjustable garter straps are attached.
