• Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate

This pattern is made using US size 3 knitting needles. The body and ears are knitted flat and sewn together. The legs and tail can be done flat or in the round.

The finished elephant sits approximately 5 inches tall. If you are looking for a larger elephant check out my other pattern, Bodil the Elephant.

You will need to be able to to do simple increases and decreases.

Like the rest of my patterns, this pattern is flexible and you can use whatever yarn you have on hand. No specific yarn is required.

Includes standard American knitting abbreviations. The pattern also has several pictures with detailed instructions.

There are several pictures of how to assemble and sew the elephant together. The limbs can be sewn on or you can choose to pick up stitches instead. Your choice.
