This makes a fun and unique hat during the holiday season.

Materials
Yarn: worsted weight yarn in a variety of colors
Yarn used in main sample (if yardage is not listed less than 100 yards was used): Red Heart Super Saver Paddy Green (125 yards), Aran, Bright Yellow, Pumpkin, Turqua, Cherry, Black, Blue
Crochet Hooks: H (5mm), I (5.5mm)
Notions: Yarn needle for weaving in ends, 6 small black buttons, black thread, sewing needle, 1/8”-1/4” buttons for train cars, ½” button for engine, 1” button for engine, battery powered Christmas lights (optional), Black embroidery floss
Optional: Measuring tape, scissors

Measurements
Gauge: 4” = 13 hdc and 9 rounds
Sizes: Toddler/child small, Child large/preteen, Teen/Adult
