Tulips shawl is a simple top down crescent shawl. The name was suggested by one of my lovely Knitting friends and as soon as this was mentioned, I knew this is the perfect name for it. Thank you Michelle W!

The body of the shawl is very simple and requires minimum concentration, just pay some attention to the position of the yo, the lace border is only 26 rows and easy to follow, even though is patterned on both sides.
This was designed initially to be worked double stranded (4/5ply with fine mohair) - and I’m calling this option the Large size, but at the suggestion of another lovely friend was tested single strand in 4ply. The instructions are identical (only different size needles) and the final size is different, still finishing as a medium size shawl.
Large size shawl: final dimensions: approx 190cm x 65 cm deep
650-700 m each of Skeinz Southlander sport Loganberry and Aurora Ilaria
size 7mm needles

Medium size shawl: approx 156 cm x 56cm deep
approx. 600 m of Skeinz Cove - 4ply - Spanish Bay
size 4.5mm needles

I highly recommend using stitch markers - 9 (one different)
Row counter or any apps to keep track of your rows (for the lace edge

Written instructions are offered as well as the Chart for the lace. Please note the Chart is on a different pdf. I will try to include the chart in the same document at some stage, but for now Windows and Apple are having time out from each other :slightly_smiling_face:
