Tiramisu The Italian classic dessert, that we all love because the ingredients are just right.
V-neckline, cable pattern, contiguous shoulder caps, a bit of raglan, long sleeve cuffs, the very casual, loose fit, and the ingenious Italian bind-off are our ingredients for this cardigan.
The cardigan is knit seamlessly from top to bottom. First, the shoulder caps are shaped using the Contiguous method by Susie Myers, then stitches for the sleeves are increased within the caps every fourth row, and finally every second row. At the same time, the V-line is formed with inclined increases m1L / m1R every fourth row.
MATERIAL:
Our sample is knit with double held
Babysilk Lace by Kremke Soul Wool, 70% Alpaca, 30% Silk,
210m pr.25g, Col. 2978 Light beige.
NEEDLES:
Circular needles and dpns (or magic loop) US5 (4,0 mm) andUS3 (3,5 mm), or needle size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE:
21 sts x 30 rows in stockinette on larger needles for 4 x 4 inch (10 x
10 cm), gauge swatch washed.
TOOLS:
Stitch markers, darning needle, scraps of yarn or stitch holder for
holding stitches aside.
TECHNIQUES:
Slanted increases m1L / m1R knitted knitwise and purlwise, increases LLI / RLI, and decreases k2tog / ssk.
