Tircha Slouchy
This slouchy looks like it is worked diagonally. However, it is nothing as complicated as that.
This is part of a set that has a pair of gloves, a cowl and this slouchy.
The word “tircha” means diagonal(ly), in Hindi, तिरछा pronounced
“thi-r-cha‟ describes this pattern perfectly. (thir ; ir as in mirror).
This pattern has been tested using :
a) 4-ply fingering yarn -75 gms / 315 yds - Oswal Mills ; 4 mm (G) crochet hook ;
b) Orange fingering weight wool - half a skein ~200 yds , 4.25 mm (G) crochet hook ;
Comments : Instructions clear charts were awesome for figuring out st placement and pics were also helpful. Probably took 3.5 - 4 hrs just sitting crafting. I love, love, love how this hat is constructed. Amazing!
Skill level by tester : Intermediate with the unique construction.
