Are you a fan of all these beautiful cake yarns companies are putting out which do all the work for you in creating long stripes of gorgeous color schemes?
Are you also a fan of easy, mindless patterns you can work up while watching TV but which look like you put in a lot of hard work by the end?
This TIRE TRACKS pattern is perfect for you, then!
This easy crochet pattern is a 12-row repeat of a sequence of 2 six-row repeats. Can you double crochet? Then, you can do this pattern!
The yarn used for the afghan pictured is Lion Brand Mandala in colorway Serpent, but any DK weight cake yarn will do the trick. (In fact, the pattern is so easily adjustable, you could use whichever sized yarn you wish--even sock yarn, if you’re so inclined. The pattern includes notes on how to easily adjust the width and height of your piece to fit your needs.
