Tiril the Butterfly
This little amigurumi butterfly was commissioned by my 5 year old niece Tiril. <3 It uses standard amigurumi techniques, and measures 8 cm long and 10 cm wide. Body and the four wings are made separately and then sewn together.
I have used 8/4 cotton (any brand will do) and a 2.5 mm hook. You will also need fibre filling for the body, embroidery floss for eyes and smile, and needle for assembly. The project uses about 15 grams yarn total, and as the different parts can be made in different colours, it is perfect for using scrap yarn.
