This is a crocheted pattern using the waistcoat stitch also known as the knit stitch. Giving this a knitted look.
This design includes 2 brim style options.
This pattern is Intermediate Level according to Craft Yarn Council.

Experience in reading a graph, the waistcoat stitch, backwards join, carrying yarn, and color changing is highly recommended
for making this pattern and having experience using these techniques or how to learn these techniques is intermediate level.

Different yarn brands even though worsted have different thicknesses.
Please feel free to use and worsted except Caron One Pound.
The overall measurements will be different even if gauge is met if you use a yarn not similar in thickness to what was used.
