Choose the right size by measuring the childs head circumference. If there is only one stitchcount in the pattern, it applies to all sizes
Yarn: Sandnes Garn Merinoull (50 g = 105 m)

Gauge: 24 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Needle size: 3 and 3,5 mm circular needles, or another sized needle to get the right gauge. You also need 2 double pointed needles of the same size to knit the i-cords.

The bonnet is knitted from the forehead towards the back of the head. The pattern is one type of ribbing, which makes the texture lofty and stretches some when the child grows. There a few short rows in the neck to form the bonnet and the remaining stitches are kitchener stitched in pattern. Then the ribbing for the neckband and 2 i-cords are knitted.

Myssy neulotaan etureunasta kohti takaraivoa tasona. Kuvio on eräänlainen joustinkuvio, mikä tuo muhkeutta neulepintaan ja joustaa lapsen kasvaessa. Takaraivoon tulee muutama lyhennetty kerros muotoilemaan takaraivoa ja silmukat silmukoidaan yhteen kuvion mukaisesti. Lopuksi poimitaan silmukoita myssyn alareunasta ja neulotaan lyhyt joustin ja solmimisnauhat.
