T'Lee Bag
At WATG, we’ve always known what a creative bunch our Gang Makers are - so we decided to invite them to collaborate with us on some new designs for our latest round of Gang Labs. We were blown away by all the amazing design ideas we received, and after picking our Top Ten, we invited everyone to vote for their favourites. The winning designs were turned into WATG patterns - and this is one of them!
Designed by: Melisa from Michigan
Named after the designer’s grandmother, the T’Lee Bag combines crochet and embroidery to create a stunning yet practical bag. First, the pieces for the bag are crocheted, then the chevron pattern is stitched on in a contrasting colour. With its larger size, this bag is perfect for those of use who don’t like to travel light when leaving the house.
You’ll need 4 x rolls of Mixtape Yarn (3 x rolls in the main colour of the bag and 1 x roll in the embroidery colour) and a 8mm crochet hook.
Stitches: single crochet, embroidery
