TO KNOT OR NOT - is a lovely unisex headband for both genders alike. Great accessory for those in between wintery, cold, blustery days when a hat is too much but you need something to cover your ears. The twisted knot that adorns the front is very stylish and feminine. The plain version is very masculine as well. The Brioche stitch makes for a very squishy, warm, reversible fabric. It is very quick and easy to make. Great for gift giving as well. One ball, budget friendly project. You can knit this headband out of any yarn really. Just adjust the amount of stitches you cast on to cover your ears and the size of needle for the weight of yarn you will be using. The fabric should be dense for warmth. You can custom make this headband, to fit (width and length) any size head from baby to adult. There is a very tiny seam on the twisted one but appears to be seamless. The pattern also includes 3 other beginner friendly stitch patterns in order to change it up (in case you want to make multiples) as well as the instructions for the twisted knot headband and the untwisted plain version, hence the name of the pattern. Don’t you think this would make the most adorable photo prop for a new born babies first photo shoot?
