In Alberta, Canada, we know a thing or two about staying warm in the winter. I like to make wide infinity, or mobius loop, scarves that can be worn wrapped twice around the neck for maximum protection against the cold. In addition, you can pull one of these two loops up and over your head to protect against the snow and wind.

This pattern results in a scarf that is symmetrical and reversible in design. It can be worn flat (add a fringe if you like), or be made into a loop by seaming the two ends, or be made into an infinity or mobius loop by twisting once and then seaming the ends.
