This Toadstool Cottage makes a cute decoration or pincushion. The door, windows and details are embroidered onto the toadstool after knitting. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toadstool is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and buttons to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 9cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
