Mushrooms and toadstools are all the rage lately, and this pattern is a fun take on a trendy idea. Using a large hook, and super bulky yarn, it’s quick and easy to whip up, and appropriate for new crocheters. Try this pattern in different colors, or all in one color without the spots for a totally different look.
As with many patterns, it is easy to adjust the look and size of your hat using different yarn weights with a compatible hook.

Materials Needed:
8 mm (US size L) crochet hook

Approx ¾ ball 10.5 oz/300 g Super Bulky (6) yarn for main toadstool color, and small amounts of stem and spot colors. I used Bernat Blanket in White, Pale Grey and Orange Leaf

Stitch marker, if desired

Tapestry needle to sew and weave in ends
