TOADstools
This is a digital pattern for “TOADstool” plushie designed by Sara Paulsen of SoulCandy Crochet. A basic knowledge of crochet is required, but this pattern is definitely advanced beginner friendly. This is a no-sew pattern with the full top and body crocheted in 1 piece. You can also omit the mushroom top for an adorable chubby toad. The construction and size make these shroomy frogs a perfect market addition as well. No gauge is provided for this item as varying tensions and yarn choices will cause different outcomes. Meeting gauge isn’t necessary to ensure a great outcome for this project!
● Pattern is designed in a size 6 blanket yarn with a 6.5mm hook but can be worked using any size yarn with a corresponding hook that results in stitches that will not expose stuffing.
● Construction: This pattern is worked in a spiral from the bottom up in with no sewing. If you wish to omit the mushroom top, simply finish off after round 12 and weave in end to close opening. Varying tension may cause stitches to be off center in Rnd 11, but adjustment instructions are provided to help you center those stitches.
● Photos are included on page 3 to aid with rounds 1 & 2 as well as safety eye/mouth placement.
● You are free to sell any items made using this pattern with credit given to SoulCandy Crochet for the design. Please do not resell, copy, or slightly modify this pattern and market it as your own.
