Toasty Cosy
Toasty Cosy
This design uses two contrasting shades of Milarrochy Tweed held double with the front worked in alternating calliper cables and the palm worked in a dense slipped stitch stripe. Named after my best friend Margo’s term for being perfectly warm, whether you choose to knit the mitts or mittens, Toasty Cosy is exactly how your hands will feel.

These striking mitts (or mittens) are knitted in the round from the bottom up using two contrasting and complimentary slipped-stitch patterns. Note that yarn is held double throughout and all stitches are slipped purlwise with the yarn at the back of the work.
