It’s tobogganing season here in Northern Alberta and this is going to be the perfect toque to do it with!!

That hat features a little bit of simple textured color work where you are working purl stitches where all the contrast color is! However, for a completely different look, you can knit those stitches and make 2 different hats out of exactly the same pattern!

You will need:
Main Color: 1 strand of DK held with 1 strand of lace weight mohair.
Contrast color: just 1 strand of DK (no mohair)

Size 3.75mm and 4.5mm needles for knitting in the round!

The extra long ribbed brim is especially nice for folding up on the extra chilly days for ear warmth or wearing it long and slouchy…. whichever you choose. Check out the photos to see us wearing them both ways!
