Toby and Tilly are two sweet little hedgehogs. They stand 10 and a 1/2 inches high and are sure to be a big hit with children and adults alike

They are knitted flat using DK or equivalent yarns. Everything but the fun fur is knitted on 3mm needles, the fun fur uses 4mm.

A fun knit from a pattern that pattern is clear and easy to understand and has no complicated stitches or shaping.

Gauge is not that important as long as you are consistent and you knit tight enough so the stuffing does not show through.

Materials needed
Dk or equivalent yarns in the following colours
Peach - less than 30g
Light brown – less than 30g
Dark blue - less than 20g
Dark brown – less than 10g
Sage green – less than 10g
White – less than 10g
Denim blue – scrap
Black – scrap
Flesh or light pink - scrap
Fun fur or eyelash yarn in a brown shade – less than 30g
A pair of 3mm (UK11/US3) needles
A pair of 4mm (UK8/US6) needles Note: these are only used for the fun fur
Spare needle-double pointed preferably
Two pairs of 5mm plastic toy eyes
Two 6/7mm plastic animal noses
Three small buttons (optional)
3 small beads (optional)
Scrap of white felt
Scrap of stiff card
