This is a nice cozy cowl, using one strand of worsted llama yarn held double with a strand of lace (or fingering weight) mink. The combination of these fibres make it very soft and warm! It would be perfectly suitable to use alpaca or merino instead.

This is a one size, single-loop cowl, but you could make it larger by increasing the number of stitches cast-on in multiples of 7. In this case you would need more yarn, as the pattern uses up the entire skein of Miski llama.
