Today's the Day
A square dishcloth, knitted flat, from the bottom up. The pattern has a garter stitch border, enveloping a textured/openwork stitch pattern.
Put two of my dishcloths into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.
The pattern comes with charts as well as row by row written instructions, and directions on how to resize it into a larger item, e.g. baby blanket.
A very effective, showy pattern that is surprisingly easy to knit. Works up fast from a little amount of yarn, making it ideal as a relaxing project in between larger ones, a quick gift item, or a practice piece to use the same stitch pattern in something larger: it can become an attractive scarf, a market bag, a potholder, a rug, a placemat, a (baby) blanket, or whatever else you fancy.
