Gauge: 4in/10cm = 22 stitches and 26 rows

Recommended yarn:
135-220yds/124-200m of DK yarn for US 3 knitting needles (3,25mm) for the sample and the hat.

I use Norwegian yarn DUO manufactured by Sandnes Garn - 55% merino wool, 45% cotton. One skein of yarn is 50g/124m (1,76oz/135yds). Weight DK (11wpi). My color – 6553.

Using other yarn and knitting needles won’t be an issue too, because, in this lesson, I give you an algorithm on how to work with samples and make calculations for your gauge.
