Toddler Holiday House Socks
I used Cascade 220 Superwash wool yarn for these socks. (Worsted weight, 100% soft wool yarn that you can wash and dry!) This is a really easy sock pattern and a great way to get your “foot into” stranded/Fair Isle knitting if you have never attempted it before. The only stitches required in this pattern are the stockinette stitch (knit every stitch), K2tog (knit two together), SSK (slip, slip, knit) and the ribbing pattern of K3, P3 (knit 3, purl 3). I’ve tried to go into a bit of detail in hopes of making this pattern as easy as possible to understand and follow. I hope you will enjoy it!
I have included both charts for both pairs of socks in the photo. (One for the green, red, and white pair, and a second chart for the blue, wine, and white pair.) Of course, feel free to use whatever colors you prefer if you are not too keen on the ones I chose. :-)
