Two strands together. I took a left over skein of yarn, and rolled two balls and then use the two strands together. (I am going to periodically change colors. I will make a hidden knot, and just continue around.)

Stitches / things you need to know

Optional color change: this pattern does not address color change.
Magic circle, you may use a chain three slip stitch and use that as your beginning circle if you wish.
Half double crochet
Single crochet
Slip stitch
Crochet in back and 3rd loop (when you place your hook into the back loop tilt your work towards you and you will see a smaller additional bar / loop called the third loop. Insert hook in that stitch as well.I feel it gives a little more stability then just back loop only.)
