A magic loop pattern for toddler sox (which could be done on dpns if desired).

The original was done with contrasting yarn for the cuff, but you could use one colour throughout if you prefer. This sock will fit up to 18 months, as long as you adjust the length of the foot to account for it. I’ve used pure wool but any soft sock yarn or fingering weight yarn would work. Just remember that little feet can get sweaty too!

EDIT: For those of you who downloaded the pattern before 5 Jan 2010 I’ve fixed an error in the heel turn instructions. The new uploaded pattern has the correct instructions. Sorry for any confusion caused.

New edit: Apparently I managed to NOT fix the number of stitches in the heel flap. 22 is the magic number, not 21. Again, apologies for any confusion.
