Toe Beans Stocking
Introducing the Toe Beans Stocking, a paw-print-and-heart stranded motif knitting pattern that’s sure to warm your heart and the hearts of your furry family members. This design was inspired by a special request from an extraordinary person in my life – a favorite collaborator and dear friend. Together, we’ve spent countless hours bonding over our love for dogs and watching dog-related Instagram reels.
When she mentioned the idea of a dog-themed stocking and shared her desire to create one for each of her three pups, I couldn’t resist the challenge. After all, our dogs are an integral part of our family, and they certainly deserve a special stocking for St. Nick to fill with treats and goodies.
The Toe Beans Stocking is a versatile design that allows you to choose between knitting with two or three colors. It showcases a turned cuff, a star toe, and a forethought heel, all combined to create a stocking that is as charming as it is functional. Gauge isn’t critical for this project but do keep in mind that it will affect your yarn amounts.
One of the most rewarding aspects of designing this pattern was the idea of my friend knitting a stocking for Raymond the dog using Raymond Worsted yarn- doesn’t that add an extra layer of joy to the project?
Gather your needles, choose your colors, and embark on this delightful knitting journey to create a stocking that will surely become a cherished keepsake for the furry friends in your life. Happy knitting!
