I prefer doing toe up socks. When looking for baby sock patterns, I kept finding cuff down ones so I adapted one to do toe up instead.

You can use whatever fingering weight yarn you can get your hands on. We happen to have had the My First Regia skeins at Sweet Yarns so I used it. You need about 25 g to complete the pair.
