This is a free pattern for toe-up ankle socks or footies, written specifically for Cascade fixation, or a comparable yarn (Cascade is a DK weight yarn). It is written for knitters familiar with sock construction, and knitting on one long circular needle (I do 2 at a time), but you may choose double points if you prefer. This basic pattern includes instruction for a short row heel, but again, you can choose your favourite toe-up heel here if you wish. This pattern was not written with the beginning sock knitter in mind.
