Toe-up socks to fit anybody; on two circulars
This is a “knit to fit” pattern; quick way to measure the wearer’s foot, and make a comfortable fit with negative ease. Fleegle heel, and Judy’s Magic Cast-On make this easy with no wraps! This is the exact pattern I use in my toe-up sock classes. Can be done two-at-a-time, which I do, as I get second sock syndrome badly.
The bigger the yarn/foot, the bigger the needle should be. For smaller feet/yarn, use size 0-1 // for a bigger size yarn (6-ply) or foot, use size 2-3. No larger than size three for fingering weight yarn. If you want to use DK or worsted, I suggest size 4-6 depending on the thickness of yarn. The pattern still applies, whatever yarn you choose.
Pattern works for short socks, and gives instructions on how to continue and make a sock that goes right up to your knee!
