A pattern for plain (vanilla) socks that begin at the toe with Judy Becker’s Magic Cast On, use a “hole-less” variation of Fleegle’s short row heel, and end at the cuff with 2 by 2 ribbing and Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off.

Socks are worked using the magic loop technique, although the knitter may choose their preferred method for working in the round.

Links to the original tutorials for each special technique used in this sock are found in the pattern. Find Susan (fleegle) Steven’s original toe-up, no-flap, no-hassle heel construction on Ravelry here.
