Togedemaru (Pokemon)
Long time no see, crochety strangers on the internet! Today I’m FINALLY bringing you Togedemaru – a project I had already started in late January and was going to publish in mid February, however the day before I was going to apply the finishing touches, my baby girl decided to enter this world early. Since I spend most of my days holding a baby in my arms now, crocheting/felting has gotten a liiiiiittle difficult which is why it’s taken me over a month to finish this guy. He didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted to, but with a baby, I didn’t feel like revamping the entire thing. I hope you guys like this little guy anyways! I don’t know when I’ll get to post again as my daughter’s naps are still difficult to predict and greatly vary in duration, plus there are obviously other things to take care of, but I have my next project in the works and hope I’ll get to share it sooner rather than later ❤
Materials
To make Togedemaru you will need:
– A 2.5mm crochet hook
– White, grey and yellow yarn
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– Black thread for the eyes and mouth
– Felting supplies and wool in white, yellow and brown (note: you could crochet it instead)
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make Togedemaru using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, Togedemaru should be about 10cm tall.
