My Together Apart Hat is a design dreamed up in this current world of social distancing and missing the ones I love dearly. I find myself so grateful that we live in times where technology can keep us connected to one another. As I knit each stitch I was reminded that even while apart, we’re all in this together.

The pattern uses simple, meditative, slipped stitches to create the texture and blending of colors. It’s a quick and easy knit, with soothing stockinette rows, and enough variety in the stitches to keep a knitter’s interest. Using small amounts of your favorite DK or Sport weight yarn, this project is a great stash-buster too!

DK or Sport Weight Yarn in 2 colors, 130 to 190 yds

Baby = 130  yds (119m) / Toddler = 140 yds (128m)
Teen-Adult Small = 170 yds (156m) / Adult Large = 190 yds (174m)
