This crochet pattern is for a men’s cardigan, with a textured design and overlapping front pieces that join on the diagonal. The cardigan is designed to be joined by large statement piece toggles, but there is also an internal button to keep everything in place.

The textured finish is achieved with front and back post crochet stitches. The continuous border is in Linen stitch.

The pattern was designed using DK acrylic, specifically Patons Fab DK. The pictures show the cardigan made in Natural Tweed (02070).

The garment is made in five pieces and then sewn together. You will be purchasing five copies of the pattern, one for each size. The instructions include lots of detail to ensure shaping is made easy.
