Toivo is an easy lace shawl that makes a great first lace project for even a beginner knitter. The shawl is knitted from wing to wing by making an increase on every right side row along the left side of the work. If you’d like to knit an easier version of this shawl, you can leave out chart B and continue the increases and the lace pattern repeat from chart A for another 53 rows or until you have just about half of your last ball of yarn left. End the lace pattern section with
a wrong side row and finish the shawl by knitting the ribbed end.
