Tokyo shawl is a modern triangular shawl with a three-dimensional fabric look and is worked from the point to the neck edge, beginning with a small number of stitches. Increases are positioned a stitch/ 2 stitches from the edge which form the border on both sides of shawl. Pattern stitches are worked in the way that the shawl is wearable on both sides: there’s no right or wrong side of the knitted shawl.

This shawl can be easily knitted in one thread of any DK weight yarn. I highly recommend using a well, easy drape yarn- it can be some yarn with a 10% to 30% of silk or alpaca, or 50% alpaca and 50% merino combination as example. In fact, it can be knitted of any weight type of yarn, in one thread or multiple.
