This project was inspired by looking at some of my leftover fingering weight yarn from previous projects. These projects are great stashbusters of those odds and ends that knitters just can’t part with.

Tom’s Scarf is worked in a mix of blues, greens, golds, and purples. Olivia’s cowl is worked in a mix of blues, greens, and purples. Both projects use a mix of fibers including Jamieson’s spindrift, Rowan Mohair Haze, Rowan Angora Haze, Rowan Kidsilk Haze (knit double), madeleinetosh Tosh Merino Light, Rowan’s Finest, and Shibui Staccato, amongst others.

The scarf is knit flat in linen stitch, working back and forth with ends left for fringe; and the cowl is knit in the round in linen stitch.
