A lovely soft garter stitch jacket thats so easy to knit, I love to make my friends a little jacket for their babies, one thats easy to wear, wash, and dry in the lovely colours of Paintbox Yarns. This one comes in two sizes and has a matching hat for those extra windy/chilly days

I bought 1x100g ball of the Paintbox Yarn and 8x10g mini balls in assorted shades but you could just use up oddments of DK/8ply left over from other projects

I also used size 3.25 (US3) needles, instead of the yarns recommended 4mm, this gives a slightly firmer knit for the jacket but is still nice and soft
