This listing is for an original crochet pattern designed by SugareeCo. If you love owls this sweater is for you! Inspired by the kitschy owl designs of the 60’s and 70’s these sweet owls are sure to make you smile!

The pattern is written in a way that sizing can be completely customizable. It includes recomendes sizing guides and is made to measure making it SIZE INCLUSIVE!
(Adult sizes only)

Although it is beginner friendly experience with graphagans is needed. If you haven’t done any graphagan/ color work before I highly recommend checking out some YouTube tutorials before hand! The pattern features lots of step by step photos making it easy to follow. The yarn used for this pattern is acrylic worsted weight but you can also use a cotton yarn if you prefer.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

5mm hook
Stitch marker
Tape measure
6 different colors of yarn
Blocking mat (optional but extremely helpful)

You can use any worsted weight acrylic yarn for this project or even your favorite 4 weight cotton yarn. For the sample photos throughout the pattern I used big twist acrylic yarn In the following shades:

Example colors:
A. Camel (main color)
B. Chocolate Brown (owls)
C. Cream (owl chest and around eyes)
D. Black (branch and pupils)
E. Burnt Orange (moon)
F. Pale Yellow (iris)

You’ll need between 2.5-6 (950 - 2,280 yards) skeins of color A for the main color (depending on the size), half a skein of B for the owl body, less than half a skein (190 yards) of C, D, E and F for the rest of the color work.
