From the pattern:
Transform a long rectangular swatch of single crochet into a useful pouch with a simple fold and a few whipstitches around the edges. Store crochet hooks, scissors, and a tape measure inside the pouch, and keep stitch markers and yarn needles handy by hooking them through the stitches on the front, under the flap.

Also needed:
Split ring stitch markers, a few yards of a second color to sew it together, small buttons approximately 1/2 inch diameter.
