Tooreen Cowl
About:
There is a small townland in Ireland, not far from where my mom grew up, called Tooreen. The Gaelic word tuairín means little paddock or little pasture. The little diamonds in the hat remind me of little paddocks—filled with sheep, of course.
This worsted-weight cowl, knit in two contrasting colors is suitable for a confident beginner but interesting enough for a more advanced one. It’s a quick stashbusting project available in one size.
Much thought was put into making this cowl a relaxing experience for you. Colorwork charts are offered in both light on dark and dark on light so that you don’t have to try and switch them in your head.
This worsted weight cowl is a fast knit, that you will not be able to put down. And will have you stash diving for a second and third! And if you enjoy this, make sure to check out the sister design—the Tooreen Hat.
