In Uruguay, where I’m from, it’s not the Tooth Fairy that takes your tooth when it falls out but Ratón Pérez (a mouse called Pérez). The process is the same, though; kids leave their tooth under their pillow and Ratón Pérez leaves money for them. Sometimes, because he’s really little, it’s difficult for him to take the tooth from under the pillow because kids’ heads are too heavy for him to lift. To be on the safe side, it’s better to leave your tooth in a place that will make it easier for him to get it, like this little pillow. I bet the Tooth Fairy will appreciate it too!
