This pattern was what I came up with to teach some of the students at my girls’ primary how to knit. This is uber basic, simple garter stitch. It doesn’t need to be perfect but it gives children an easily obtainable FO that has a practical use.

Any yarn can be used with any needle, though I stuck with DK on 4mm for the classes.
