Toothless dragon hat
I think it’s fair to say that Toothless from the Dreamworks movie “How to train your dragon” is probably the most adorable dragon ever to hatch. With many so many small (and less small) fans, I thought Toothless the dragon would be a great inspiration for a hat. Who could resist that face?
This hat pattern comes in 4 sizes: S is roughly for children aged 5 to 9, M is for ages 10 to 15, and L and XL are for adults. Please see the measurements table below for more information on the size you should make.
The stitches used are fairly simple: stockinette, single rib, garter, and simple increases and decreases. You will also need to know how to knit in the round, and to make the ears, you’ll need to know how to use either double pointed needles or the magic loop technique. The finishing touches are crocheted around the edge of the ears and brim.
