Tootsie Roll Bolster Pillow
Tootsie Roll Bolster Pillow is a covering for a pillow form, homemade pillow form, or stuffing that is knit in the round, and then knit back and forth using intarsia techniques. I painstakingly measured the Tootsie Roll wrapper and created a chart of the logo.
This pillow is done in fingering weight yarn for a small bolster. The chart and instructions could be adapted for thicker yarn, thus yielding a much larger pillow.
Materials needed include a tapestry needle, and a 2.25mm (US 1) circular needle with the cable length of your choice (or double points).
Yarn used was Cascade 220 Fingering, one skein each of red and brown, and two skeins of white.
The striped sections of the pillow are knit in the round, the intarsia pattern switches to back and forth knitting still on the circular needles. This pillow could be knit flat and then seamed.
