This knitting pattern is for a short-sleeved top and skirt. It is designed to fit an 18” American Girl doll.

The top is fully open in the back with 3 buttonholes for ease of dressing. Both the top and skirt are knit flat. The top is knit top-down.

The pattern will be sent as a PDF document.

Materials:

• Paton’s Silk Bamboo, Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo or any other DK weight yarn in two colours. (approximately 95m of each colour)
• 3.25 mm needles
• 3 buttons for the top
• one yarn needle

Gauge:
approximately 27 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 3.25 mm needles

Techniques/Stitches:

• M1L – make one left
• M1R – make one right
• there are a few other stitches described in the instructions
