This knitting pattern for my ‘Top and Mosaic Skirt’ is designed to fit an 18” American Girl doll.

The top is fully open in the back with 3 buttonholes for ease of dressing and is knit flat and top-down.
The skirt has a ribbed waist and is also knit flat.

Materials:
• DK (double knitting) or light-worsted weight yarn (such as Snuggly Baby Bamboo) in two colours (approx 150m of blue and 50m of cream)
• 3.25 mm needles
• 3 buttons for the top
• one yarn needle

Gauge:
approximately 27 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 3.25 mm needles

Techniques:
• Long-tail Cast-On
