This pattern is my own design for a knitted top and skirt. It is designed to fit an 18” American Girl doll.

The top is fully open in the back with 3 buttonholes for ease of dressing and is knit flat and bottom-up. The skirt has a ribbed waist and is also knit flat.

Materials:
• Super Fine or Fingering weight yarn (such as Loops & Threads Woolike Yarn) in two colours (approximately 150m of each colour)
• 2.75 mm needles
• 3 buttons for the top
• one yarn needle

Gauge:
32 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 2.75 mm needles

Techniques/Stitches:
• long-tail cast-on
• k1tbl - knit one through back loop
• p1tbl - purl one through back loop
