This Beret is knitted top down in the round on double pointed needles and circular needles. It will fit a head-circumference of 54-56 cm. The width can be altered by the size of the needles used on the lower edge.

The gauge on the main body of the Beret is 24 stitches and 32 rounds in 4 by 4 inches or in 10 by 10 centimeter, knitted on needles 3,5 mm/ US 4. The edge of the Beret is knitted on needles 3 mm/US 21/2, and the inner lining on needles 2,5 mm/US 1 1/2 to make it more snug around the head.

The Beret showed on the photos here is knitted with blue Tvinni 2 ply yarn as the pattern color and different shades of Isager Highland Yarn in terra cotta reds, bluish greens and grayish blues as the ground color. Other yarns with a similar yardage will also work well.

In total the Beret has a weight of 50 gram, so very small amounts of each color is needed. Use the colors of your choice. Left over yarn could be perfect.
