This Top Down Sweater has no seams on the inside and soft rolled hems and neckline. With a big wide neck it is easy to pull on and can be worn either way round as the back and front are the same. It is great for kids with sensory processing disorder - or just for those who like soft and comfy sweaters. Because it is worked Top Down the sleeves and hem can be finished at any length - it could even be made into a tunic or dress.

It is worked on a set of four double pointed needles or circular needles and  can be worked in any standard Aran weight yarn, but I have used Cashmerino Aran by Debbie Bliss.

To substitute: use any standard Aran weight yarn with a given tension of 18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm square on 5 mm (US 8) needles – see ball band label for details.
1 set 4 x 4 mm (US 6) double pointed needles.
1 set 4 x 5 mm (US 8) double pointed needles.
Optional Circular needle no 5 mm (US 8) needle length 60 cm
(bamboo needles recommended for the dpns)
