Top-down fingerless glove with thumb knit separately and attached with a gusset. Instructions include a picot cast-on and bind-off, and an easy 5-stitch openwork (lacy) rib. The resulting glove is quite stretchy.

Size given is for ladies medium, but this pattern is very easily adapted. Knit in a dark colour, minus the picots, and with a plain rib, this could easily be a man’s fingerless glove.

Yardage varies depending on the length of the gloves. I made mine using leftover sock yarn after knitting a pair of socks.
